About Dan Laidlaw

Dan Laidlaw is a seasoned audit professional with more than 20 years of experience advising early-stage companies and publicly traded businesses. He specializes in IPO readiness, SEC reporting, stock compensation, and complex equity transactions. Throughout his career, Dan has held senior roles at both global and mid-sized accounting firms. During this time, he served clients across the technology, consumer, and emerging growth sectors, with many based in the New York metropolitan area. Most notably, Dan played a key role in the IPO of a widely recognized global e-commerce platform. There, he guided the company through its financial reporting and regulatory milestones.

Dan takes a hands-on, team-oriented approach to client service. He’s passionate about mentorship. Dan coaches staff through CPA exam prep and supports teams through fast-paced engagements with clarity and confidence. A graduate of The University of Tampa and an All-American swimmer, Dan brings focus, discipline, and a strong sense of partnership to every engagement – both with clients and colleagues. Based remotely, he will primarily serve RRBB’s growing roster of New York-based clients.
