About the NJCPA Ovation Awards

Ovation Awards were announced on October 4 and distributed in seven categories. The Impact category recognizes those who dedicate meaningful time and energy to commendable endeavors. For example, giving back to the community, sharing professional expertise to support others, or advancing the interests and needs of the accounting profession. Award recipients display this through their active engagement, leadership, or advocacy. The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion category, honors diversity, equity, and inclusion champions. These champions work passionately to make the accounting and finance profession open, welcoming, and fair. Their efforts include encouraging and promoting initiatives and change, regardless of race, sexual orientation, religion, age, gender, disability status, or other dimensions of diversity.

With over 13,000 members, the NJCPA represents the interests of the accounting profession. It also aims to advance the financial well-being of the people of New Jersey. Therefore, the NJCPA plays a leadership role in supporting the profession. It provides members with educational resources, access to shared knowledge, and a continuing effort to create and expand professional opportunities. View all the Ovation Award winners at njcpa.org/awards.
