Joe Caplan Invited to New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Leadership Institute

Joseph A. Caplan, CPA, MBA, a Partner of RRBB Accountants and Advisors, has been selected as one of eleven New York CPAs invited to participate in the 2022 New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) Leadership Institute.

“I am excited to continue my education in skill-based learning. As a Partner and Chair of the firm’s tax department, it is crucial for my leadership skills to develop as the workforce develops. I enjoy staying ahead of the curve while making sure I lead in the best direction possible,” said Joe.

About the New York CPA Leadership Institute

The NYSSCPA staff reviewed the NextGen CPAs and CPA candidates from all over New York who submitted applications. Then, they carefully selected each qualified applicant to join the upcoming class. Those chosen are organizational leaders, have achievements in their field, and are active with the NYSSCPA.

This Leadership Institute is the only leadership initiative explicitly for CPAs and CPA candidates in New York. The hybrid online and in-person training program will last six months. This program intends to improve productivity at work, assist in leveraging skills, and also provide crucial insights and tools for more effective strategic career planning.

The NYSSCPA created the Leadership Institute to engage and offer opportunities to members at the start of their careers. The Leadership Institute replaces the Young Leadership Circle to provide additional opportunities and greater participation throughout New York.
