Joe Caplan Appointed to AICPA Foundation Scholarship Committee
Joseph A. Caplan, CPA, MBA, Partner and Managing Member of RRBB, will join the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Foundation Scholarship Committee for the 2025-2026 volunteer service year.

About Joe Caplan
Joe serves as Chair of the RRBB Tax Department. He focuses on providing tax, advisory, attest, and accounting services to owner-managed businesses in various professional service industries. These industries generally include medical and dental practices, law firms, real estate, and small businesses. Joe counsels clients on business and tax strategies to assist them in dealing with short- and long-term challenges, opportunities, and growth.
Passionate about the profession, Joe has made significant contributions to the firm, community, and industry. Thus, NJBIZ listed him in the 2019 “Vanguard Series: Accounting” issue. Joe is an active member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA), past Vice President of the Monmouth/Ocean Chapter, and Chair of the Chapter’s Healthcare Committee. Because of his participation, he received the NJCPA Impact Ovation Award in 2023. Joe is also a member of the Young Member Leadership Committee for the AICPA. Through the AICPA, he graduated from the Leadership Academy, being one of 41 CPAs chosen from around the country.
Joe, a resident of Howell, received his Master of Business Administration from Saint Peter’s University in 2010. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, cum laude, from the College of Staten Island, the City University of New York (CUNY), in 2005.
