His areas of expertise include coordinating and performing financial statement audits in accordance with PCAOB and AICPA standards. His focus is on strategic growth and industry-specific needs. At RRBB, Matt brings a strong technical background and a collaborative approach to every engagement. Previously, at a “Big 4” firm, he managed audits for both public and private companies. Additionally, Matt played a key role in providing audit support during capital market transactions. He has extensive experience working with clients through the IPO process and complex transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, de-SPAC transactions, and debt and equity financings. This includes delivering comfort letters and issuing auditor consents. As a result, companies rely on his deep knowledge of GAAP and SEC compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting. Matt has also taught numerous continuing education courses on various technical accounting matters.
