RRBB Accountants and Advisors is pleased to present nine new members to its team. This announcement comes after six months of a hiring frenzy for the RRBB Somerset office.

Dave Roth, Managing Partner and CEO of the firm, said, “RRBB has experienced significant growth in 2021. This has led to the need to increase our personnel in number and depth. Our current team is poised to exceed our clients’ expectations in 2022.”

Furthering the RRBB Growth Strategy

With tax specialists trained to be proactive and analytical, our knowledgeable and competent tax department always keeps the “big picture” and clients’ overall needs in mind. Therefore, we’ve brought on Joe Caplan, CPA, MBA, as a Partner to serve as the RRBB Tax Department Chair. Coming from a national accounting firm, he has established expertise in providing business and tax strategies to small and mid-market companies. Joe has a proven track record of building strong client relationships, leading to success and satisfaction.

Similarly, the RRBB Attest Department looks to add value to the audit process. Every company, publicly owned, privately held, or not-for-profit, must report the organization’s finances at some point. We combine our strategic understanding of today’s competitive business environment and our experience in evaluating the business risks clients face. Thus, we’ve added Spencer Parcel, CPA, to the team. He joins us from one of the “Big 4” as a Senior Manager to provide accounting and advisory services to clients from start-ups to Fortune 100 and private companies.

Nick Klimkiewicz, CPA, a Senior Accountant in the tax department, also comes to RRBB from a “Big 4” accounting firm, but with a concentration in trusts and estates. We at RRBB urge clients to consult with us on their estate plans. We have the financial background and tax expertise to deal with complex business situations while remaining sensitive to the human aspects of the planning process. Nick is excited to now have the opportunity to build those individual connections with our clients.

RRBB Hiring a Diverse Talent Force

RRBB’s approach, size, and culture allows us to learn, grow, and do much more than many other firms. Our people work with a diverse group of clients, partners, and teammates in many different industries. Joining RRBB from a smaller firm, Stephanie Marte, a Supervisor in the RRBB Tax Department, looks forward to learning from the diverse people at RRBB. Justin Huryk, an Audit Associate also coming from a smaller firm, agreed. He added that “at RRBB, you get to know everyone, including clients,” which he found while assisting on audits of public companies in the tech and life sciences industries.

Learning tax, audit, and consulting while interacting at many levels makes the RRBB experience valuable and unique. Rohith (“Ro”) Parthasarathy, CPA, an Audit Associate, began his career at a data analytics firm before moving onto the healthcare industry. He plans to bring his data analytics expertise after first familiarizing himself with every facet of our services. Meanwhile, Kirby Marron began her career for a major utilities company as an inventory specialist. She later spent one year at a national accounting firm preparing individual and corporate tax returns. Kirby now joins RRBB as an Audit Associate in the RRBB Attest Department.

Our people are our greatest asset, so we have created a progressive, collegial workplace with an authentic family atmosphere. We help develop skills, understanding, expertise, and great relationships that last entire careers. From mentoring and teaching to community service and company events, we provide time, support, experience, and relationships. For instance, we support John Sheedy, an Audit Associate, in volunteering his free time coaching Franklin Township’s K-6 wrestling league. We also offer Jen Mendieta a part-time Audit Associate position while she works towards her MBA. As RRBB continues to grow, our hiring efforts for good talent continue as well.
