Paul is a trusted small business accountant with more than 40 years of real-world business and advisory experience. In addition to advising small businesses throughout his career, Paul has personally owned and operated companies, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges, risks, and decisions business owners face every day. This perspective shapes his practical, results-driven approach to tax and financial planning.
Experienced Small Business Accountant with a Business-Owner Perspective
Paul began his career working with multinational corporations based in New York City, supporting operations across Europe, Asia, and Mexico. From 1979 to 1981, he served as Assistant Controller for an international tour operator, overseeing financial operations for its Europe and Asia offices. He later joined a regional New York City CPA firm, where he managed construction, manufacturing, and service-industry clients with a focus on tax planning and business consulting.
Paul’s experience as a small business owner deepened when he served as vice president and general manager at a Mexico-based tour operator from 1984 to 1986. After purchasing the company in 1986, he served as president until 1994, overseeing all aspects of the business, including charter operations and aircraft leasing between the United States and Mexico. This hands-on ownership experience allows Paul to relate directly to the financial, operational, and strategic pressures small business owners face.

Today, Paul continues to dedicate himself to serving small businesses, family-owned companies, and nonprofit organizations. As a small business accountant, she provides comprehensive services, including tax planning and compliance, CFO outsourcing, bookkeeping and payroll services, IRS representation, business sales and acquisitions, estate administration, and ongoing business consulting.
Paul specializes in advising closely held and family businesses, offering full-service support designed to help clients operate efficiently, plan confidently, and grow strategically. His combination of technical expertise and firsthand ownership experience enables him to deliver practical guidance grounded in what it truly takes to run a successful small business.
