Luis’s managerial journey includes supervising and reviewing multilocation audits for global clients. His expertise also shone through in assisting asset management firms with reporting issues related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) processes and overseeing financial statement conversions under U.S. GAAP and IFRS. Before joining RRBB, Luis played a pivotal role as a Partner at a firm in Miami. There, he supervised audit, review, and compilation processes for private equity funds in Latin America. His contribution went beyond day-to-day operations, as he designed the firm’s audit quality control manual and ensured compliance through peer review by AICPA/FICPA. With a foundation laid during his time in Miami, where he worked in both tax and audit at a young age, Luis developed a unique skill set that extends to international companies. His immersion in different cultures, including a year in Argentina and engagements in Brazil and Paraguay, equipped him with the nuances essential for serving a diverse clientele.

Over the years, Luis has been actively involved in professional affiliations such as the AICPA, NYSSCPA, and Argentinian American Chamber of Commerce. Beyond his professional commitments, he dedicates time to community service, volunteering to speak with the elderly and contributing to food distribution initiatives for the homeless in Miami.

Luis’s academic journey, including degrees in economics and accounting, was shaped by his passion for constant learning and his desire to navigate the world of finance. Outside of the office, Luis is an avid runner and fitness enthusiast outside the professional realm. He values spending time with family, traveling, and engaging in sports. Despite moving to New York in March, Luis maintains strong connections with his sister and nephew in Miami and frequently travels to Argentina to visit his family.
