RRBB Recognized as NJBIZ 2023 Empowering Women Honoree
RRBB is proud to announce its recognition in the inaugural NJBIZ “Empowering Women” awards. The 2023 NJBIZ inaugural “Empowering Women” celebratory breakfast will be on August 1, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 am at the DoubleTree by Hilton Somerset Hotel and Conference Center.
Danielle Weiss, a Senior Manager and Chair of the firm’s Women’s Forum, will accept this award on behalf of the firm. She commented, “This recognition is truly a reflection of the firm’s leadership. RRBB has allowed me to maintain a balance of work and family. My RRBB Partners have supported me from day one and have provided me with the resources necessary to excel in my career. This is rare today.”
“It is time to honor those organizations that invest in, elevate and support women leaders,” Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher and managing director, said when the program was unveiled earlier this year. “Women leaders can only succeed with the support of the organizations they work for and with.”
About the NJBIZ Empowering Women Awards
This is a new addition to the many NJBIZ awards to honor New Jersey’s business community. The idea is to recognize companies that have made it their mission to support, mentor, and promote women within their industries and the communities they serve. To receive the honor, nominations were open for a short period of time. In order to participate, companies must meet the eligibility criteria. Then, a panel of non-NJBIZ judges carefully did vetting of the nominating companies. For the full list of honorees, eligibility requirements, and more information, visit njbiz.com.
Last year, RRBB was proud to create the Women’s Forum. Management was thrilled to create this opportunity for all employees to know that they are seen, heard, and valued. The RRBB Women’s Forum meets quarterly and includes staff at all levels. As the Chair, Danielle aims to provide an open platform for all the women at RRBB to speak openly about their successes and challenges. The Forum also provides educational resources and personal and professional development opportunities. This comes through the help and support of Jacqueline Engelsman, the firm’s Director of Marketing and Business Development. In addition to the Women’s Forum, RRBB offers many tools to promote employee wellness and engagement.
RRBB has a firm belief that its people are its greatest asset. Therefore, the RRBB team has created and supported a progressive, collegial workplace with a true family atmosphere. Leadership cares that every employee is happy and healthy, both physically and mentally. For women, and more specifically, for working moms, there can be a difficult adjustment to finding an appropriate work-life balance. RRBB stands by its commitment to giving its people the time they need to care for themselves, their families, and their work.
