About Len Friedman

Len serves as the head of the Valuation and Litigation Support Services Practice at RRBB Advisors, LLC. He has over 35 years of public accounting experience, including extensive fieldwork in business valuations and forensic accounting.

A seasoned business appraiser and consultant, Len has written several articles and book chapters in many publications on the topics of divorce taxation, general taxation, and business valuations. He has given speeches on the topics of corporate and individual taxation, stock option valuation, and business valuation.

Len often lectures on valuations to colleagues in the accounting and legal professions. He is often brought in by attorneys or appointed by the court to act as a mediator. These cases typically deal with lifestyle analyses or valuations regarding divorce, gift tax, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, and shareholder disputes.

In addition, Len’s forensic work extends from preparing business valuation reports in divorce matters to stockholder disputes, estate planning, mergers and acquisitions, and financial reporting. He also serves as an expert witness in litigation cases.

As a member of the Tax Department, Len also has strong knowledge in taxation, hedge fund, back-office, GAAP, and SEC accounting. He handles some of the firm’s largest clients for both individual and corporate matters as well as international tax issues.

Len is a member of three business valuation organizations, including the Institute of Business Appraisers, making him one of only 400 CBA designees in the country. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. During his time there, Len was a member of the Delta Mu Delta Honor Society, Accounting Club, and Jazz Band as a trumpet player.
