Andy Fingerhut Gives Presentation on Tax Planning for Realtors

Last month,Andrew Fingerhut, CPA, a Partner ofRRBB Accountants and Advisors, presented toKeller Williams Realty in Montgomery Township. He spoke to the realtors about tax planning.

“It is always my pleasure to talk with other professionals to ensure they understand the tax implications of their work and all the ways they can save – and keep – their money,” said Andrew Fingerhut, CPA. He discussed tax planning and deductions applicable to expenses for supplies, equipment, phone usage, travel, continuing education, and professional societies. With about twenty realtors in attendance, Andy also offered a personalized question and answer session to the interested participants.

About Andy Fingerhut

With over 30 years of public accounting experience, Andy serves closely-held companies and family-owned businesses in various industries. His specific areas of concentration include professional service industries, medical practices, dental practices, law firms, real estate businesses, and manufacturing companies. As former Chair of theRRBB Tax Department, Andy’s vast experience allows him to work with any client, whether an individual or a successful business with multi-state operations. He provides services encompassing all aspects of accounting, auditing, tax, and business consulting, including succession planning. However, Andy focuses his practice on general taxation, tax compliance, helping families, and saving clients money. In addition, Andy has experience with due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions, health and welfare funds, and ERISA audits. He also works with non-profits organizations and organizations governed by collective bargaining agreements. Andy received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Economics from Rutgers University in 1984. While at school, he was a writer forThe Daily Targum. Andy was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon and has sat on its Alumni Board. A resident of Hillsborough, he gives back to his community by volunteering his time as a firefighter there.
