Description

As a Senior Tax Accountant at RRBB Advisors, LLC, you are responsible for providing financial guidance to clients, preparing financial statements and tax returns, and managing team members. You may also be responsible for supervising the work of junior accountants, reviewing and analyzing financial data, and identifying and resolving discrepancies. In addition to strong technical skills, a senior accountant should have excellent communication and leadership abilities, as they will be interacting with clients and team members on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Strong organization and follow-up skills including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet all deadlines and commitments
• Ability to give and follow instructions accurately and efficiently; proactive in asking clarifying questions to ensure work effort is directed wholly toward desired outcome
• Demonstrates understanding of the importance of, and is willing to follow, current RRBB procedures; aligns with the RRBB vision, mission and core values
• Ability to develop good relationships with clients and meet their expectations
• Excellent interpersonal skills to handle multiple clients’ needs and requests
• Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed
• Aptness to mentor staff accountants/interns to increase efficiency and growth

Qualifications

• B.A. Accounting (3.0 GPA)
• Certified Public Account (CPA) License a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CCH Axcess and QuickBooks
• GAAP: 1 Year (Preferred)
• Excellent verbal and writing skills
• Multilingual a plus (Portuguese, Italian, and/or Spanish preferred based on demographics and client list)
• Ability to meet strict deadlines, be reliable, organized, dedicated and effective as a team member
