Description
As a Senior Tax Accountant at RRBB Advisors, LLC, you are responsible for providing financial guidance to clients, preparing financial statements and tax returns, and managing team members. You may also be responsible for supervising the work of junior accountants, reviewing and analyzing financial data, and identifying and resolving discrepancies. In addition to strong technical skills, a senior accountant should have excellent communication and leadership abilities, as they will be interacting with clients and team members on a regular basis. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns for estates, trusts, and high net worth individuals
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Conduct research on tax issues and identify tax saving opportunities for clients
- Assist in the planning and execution of tax strategies for estates and trusts
- Review and interpret trust documents to determine tax implications
- Collaborate with clients and other professionals to collect necessary information for tax return preparation
- Assist in managing client relationships and providing exceptional client service
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- CPA designation strongly preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on estates and trusts
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to estates and trusts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
