Danielle Weiss Presents 2023 Best Practices and Important Tax Updates for Small Business Owners

Danielle C. Weiss, CPA, MBA, a Senior Manager at RRBB, recently presented to the BW NICE Ocean County Chapter, a women’s philanthropic networking group. She spoke on February 1 about the 2023 best practices and important tax updates for small business owners.

“There are many challenges small business owners face, and, especially for women-owned businesses run by working mothers, it is difficult to keep up with the constant changes in tax law. I’m happy to help where I can,” said Danielle.

2023 Best Practices and Important Tax Updates for Small Business Owners

Danielle’s presentation covered small business strategies, best practices, challenges, and resolutions for the new year. She touched upon tax deadlines employers must know, managing tax forms, tips for timely and accurate filings, and reasons to file returns early. Discussion topics also included reasons and benefits for obtaining accounting and tax services for small businesses. She will speak to the group again in a few months on individual tax updates.

Danielle has seventeen years of auditing, tax, and accounting experience. She focuses on providing attest, advisory, and accounting services for privately held businesses, labor unions, and employee benefit plans. However, Danielle’s expertise is in advising clients on Department of Labor and ERISA compliance. She services the manufacturing and distribution, technology, real estate, and various professional services industries.

With a passion for accounting, mentoring, and learning, Danielle contributes significantly to the firm, community, and industry. Therefore, she often serves as a mentor to new staff and leads by example. Danielle is Chair of the firm’s Women’s Forum. In addition, she actively participates in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New Jersey Society of CPAs (NJCPA), and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP).

Danielle, a resident of Tinton Falls, received her Master of Business Administration from Georgian Court University in 2009. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Delta Mu Delta, also from Georgian Court University, in 2005.
